I’m still shocked how Spain was defeated by the USA
Are we on the verge of a potential rise of the US as a great power in football? Or was that just luck?
I think there are a lot of kids in the US, these days, playing football and with the financial capacity they have, I would not be surprised that eventually they would become one of the best teams in the world.
I find it interesting, though, that the captain of their team is called “Carlos Bocanegra”. An extremely american name
